Many apps on your iPhone can interact with the Safari web browser on the device. When you click a link to a web page from an email or text message, it opens in Safari. But this page doesn’t just open in the current tab; It will open a new tab. If you don’t use Safari’s tab feature a lot or don’t close it regularly, you might be shocked to know how many tabs are currently open on your iPhone.

You can close Safari tabs by swiping left on the screen or by pressing the x in the top corner of that tab, but this can get tedious if there are a lot of them. Fortunately, iOS 10 offers the ability to quickly close all open web page tabs at the same time. Our guide below will show you how.
