How to disable music and sound effects in Pokemon Go
The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 7 Plus running iOS 12.
I’m using the latest version of the Pokemon Go app for this guide, but the steps were the same for most versions of the app.
After completing this guide, you will disable the game’s music and sound effects. You can also turn off the vibration option if you don’t want to hear any noise from it. It will not affect the sound of anything else on your phone.
Step 1: Open the Pokemon Go app.
Step 2: Tap on the Pokeball icon at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: Select the “Settings” option on the top right corner of the screen.
Step 4: Drag the “Music” and “Audio” sliders to the left.
Now that you know how to mute in Pokemon Go, you can adjust this setting any time you want to mute or unmute the music and sound effects in the game.
