The Amazon app makes it very easy to shop or save items for later, but it can be difficult to share a product link if you haven’t done so before. Our guide below will walk you through the steps required to share an Amazon product link from the Amazon app on your iPhone.
You can send an Amazon link by opening the app, finding the product you want to share, tapping the share icon on the product image, and then selecting the share option.
Share product links from the Amazon app on iPhone
The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 9.2. The version of the Amazon app you are using is the latest version available at the time of this writing. Please note that in newer versions of the Amazon app, the share button has been moved to the product image.
Please note that these steps are specifically for sharing from the Amazon Shopping App. These steps won’t work if you’re browsing the Amazon website in Safari or using another Amazon app, like the Kindle app or Amazon Video.
Here is how to share a link in the Amazon iPhone app –
- Open the Amazon app.
- Find a product you’d like to share with someone.
- Scroll down and tap the horizontal gray Share button (older versions of the Amazon app) or tap the share icon on the product photo (newer versions of the Amazon app).
- Select the method you’d like to use to share the product link.
- Enter the name, phone number, or email address of the intended recipient, then send the message.
