The old way is to completely turn off the phone in Do Not Disturb mode
The steps below will completely prevent anyone from contacting you while Do Not Disturb is enabled. This will also be a manual activation, so you’ll need to go back to the Do Not Disturb menu later to deactivate it and allow text messages and phone calls to reach you.

Step 1: Tap on the “Settings” icon.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap the Do Not Disturb option.
Step 3: Move the slider next to Manual from left to right to enable Do Not Disturb.
You will see a crescent moon icon at the top of the screen and there will be a green shade around the slider button when enabled. If you want to use a scheduled period for Do Not Disturb, select the Scheduled option instead and specify a date range.
Step 4: Scroll down and tap Allow calls from option.
Step 5: Select Nobody, then click the Back button in the upper left corner of the screen.
Step 6: Move the slider next to Recalls from right to left.
When this option is disabled, there will be no green shadow around the slider button.
Step 7: Select the Always option from the Mute section at the bottom of the screen.
